I became involved in neurophotonics through rotating with neural engineering faculty, and landed in the Han Lab, where we use optogenetics to study the brain.
I received my bachelors in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My thesis will focus on novel methods for improving the effects of DBS for treating Parkinson’s Disease. I expect to graduate in spring 2026. My PI is Xue Han, in BME, found here: https://www.bu.edu/hanlab/
