Cecilia Yudin
Director, Center for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
As an alum of this institution, I am deeply committed to helping others navigate the opportunities and challenges at Boston University. While I was not a First Generation college student, I recognize what it means to enter a new environment that was not designed for you and how necessary it is to find community and support. I hope to help students by being a resource – through sharing information, amplifying needs, advocating for solutions, and simply listening.

- Personal Facts/ Hobbies/ Interests: I’m what you call a “Third Culture Kid” – my parents are from the Philippines and Uruguay, I was born in England, then raised in the Caribbean, and now living in Boston. I love learning about how one’s lived experiences and ancestral journey informs their actions and the lens in which they view the world. To find balance, I maintain a practice of long-distance running, meditation, apartment horticulture, cooking, and the sharing of food & drink with loved ones.
