  • Personal Facts/ Hobbies/ Interests: I am one of 10 kids. We also hosted exchange students growing up. I studied abroad in high school in Iceland for my junior year (where I worked in a fish factory) and again in college, in France for a semester. I taught English in Peace Corps in Turkmenistan (we were the first group there), and I have been at the Study Abroad office at BU for over 20 years. I have a husband and two teenage girls–over 3 months of COVID we walked every street in our town!
