Kara Cattani
Director of Behavioral Medicine
As a psychologist and administrator at the University (and really as a caring human!), I am motivated to understand and advocate for the needs of all students. I’ve worked with many first gen students across my career and recognize how much courage it takes to navigate a University system. It’s daunting to deal with jargon, to work hard to find resources, to make sacrifices at great financial expense, etc and particularly to do this in a context with minimal support or background knowledge. I hope students will feel free to reach out to me. No one should have to feel alone or isolated at BU.
