My research focuses on identifying ways to make genetic counseling programs more equitable and inclusive. Supporting first-generation students is one part of implementing these findings in our department.

• Personal Facts/ Hobbies/ Interests: My husband and I have three kids. Our youngest daughter just left for college, so we are getting used to hanging out with our three cats. Since my parents are both immigrants and our daughter was adopted from China, we travel quite a bit to maintain those ties. I love listening to or watching musical theater, and I exercise pretty frequently – but that’s because I know I ought to, I’d really rather be reading a book or doing a puzzle.
