  • Personal Facts/ Hobbies/ Interests:Most of my interests/hobbies involve the Great Outdoors, including trail running, cycling (road, mountain, gravel), open water swimming, free-diving and SCUBA, fishing, hiking, backpacking, and camping… Born in Flushing, Queens, I spent my formative years in Brooklyn, NY. I went to college in suburban PA, majored in biology, came to the North Shore of Boston for grad school in marine biology over 30 years ago, and never left.I have 2 daughters; the younger one will be entering BU in Fall of 2023.
