Simone Lawrence
Senior Assistant Director
I became a Terrier F1rsts Advocate because one of the most transformational experiences in my life was witnessing my mother graduate from college in her early 30s. She was the first in my family to receive a bachelor’s degree, but she was not the last. Her persistence unlocked numerous opportunities for me. I dedicate my work to her with hopes that I can extend a sense of belonging, resources, and support to other first-generation and underrepresented students.
