Justin Petrie (he/him/his)

As the OD&L Coordinator, Justin’s role serves to support the logistics of numerous leadership programs and workshops, both in person and virtually, alongside his OD&L team members. Prior to becoming a member of the team, he served and continues to serve Boston’s local queer community as a self-made event producer, further honing his skills in event logistics, networking, and marketing. As an LGBTQ+ community event producer and promoter, Justin has experience with high volume events in queer-centric contexts including drag shows, mutual and community aid fundraisers, and educational seminars. Justin also worked for Starbucks for over six years from the barista role to the store manager role, and his love of coffee never goes unmentioned! 

Justin grew up in Tewksbury, MA where his beloved mother, who inspired his passion for continuing education and collaborative work, still resides as a schoolteacher. While working on the OD&L team, Justin is attending BU’s Questrom School of Business in the PEMBA program and hopes to one day start his own nonprofit organization uplifting queer arts & entertainment.
