Munoz and Sommers Publish in Deutsche Welle and Die Zeit

Pardee Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Miquel Muñoz Cabré and Pardee Visiting Fellow Bernd Sommer published a joint piece on the recent 18th Session of the UN Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD 18). CSD 18 was held at UN Headquarters in New York, May 3-14, and convened under the topics of mining, chemicals, transport and sustainable consumption and production.

Muñoz and Sommer attended CSD 18 as observers from the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future. Their joint piece has been published in English and German as a “Current Column” by the German Development Institute (Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik – DIE), one of the world’s leading Think Tanks for development policy. The column was replicated by Germany’s international broadcaster “Deutsche Welle ” and German Weekly Newspaper, Die Zeit.
