Ahmet Selim Tekelioglu Joins Pardee Center as Graduate Fellow
Ahmet Selim Tekelioglu joins the Pardee Center as a graduate researcher working on post- structural International Relations theory, sociology of religion, and the role of ethnic/ religious identities in international politics. His doctoral project comparatively analyzes how the nature of discourses used regarding the increasing visibility of Islam in the European Union affects attitudes of Muslim groups towards integration into a secular Europe.
Previously, he was a Junior Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Human Sciences (IWM) in Vienna, a research assistant with the Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA), Ankara, a summer intern with the Turkey Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), Washington, D.C., and a teaching fellow at Boston University.
