Reception for Development That Works Conference Held at Pardee House

The Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future at Boston University hosted a reception in honor of the participants of the Development That Works conference on the evening of March 30, 2011.

Reception at Pardee House, Boston University to launch ‘Development that Works’ Conference

Held at the Pardee House, the reception was attended by faculty and researchers from Boston University, Pardee Center Graduate Assistants, and conference speakers. Prof. Adil Najam, the Director of the Boston University Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future welcomed the guests and introduced them to the work of the Pardee Center. Prof. Jonathon Simon, Director of the Center for Global Health & Development (CGHD), also welcomed the guests and introduced them to the work of the CGHD.

The Development That Works conference will bring together leading scholars and practitioners to discuss development ideas that have the potential to lead to sustainable and effective development. The conference is organized in collaboration with BU Global Development.
