Pardee Director Anthony Janetos Gives Briefing on USGCRP Report
Anthony Janetos, Director of the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, gave a briefing in Washington, DC on Wednesday, October 15 for a report from the National Academy Committee to Advise the U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP).
Prof. Janetos serves on the committee that authored the report, which advises the USGCRP on a wide variety of programmatic and scientific issues. In this report, the committee advises the USGCRP that, in order to fully address its strategic plan, they should seek broader representation of other federal agencies, and other partners. Especially important, the committee writes, will be those agencies and organizations whose main interest is in using the scientific data and analyses supported by the research agencies.
