Jennifer Sciubba

Jennifer Sciubba is an Expert Affiliate of the Rising Powers Initiative at the Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, and the Stanley J. Buckman Professor of International Studies and department chair at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Sciubba has studied at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research and frequently advises the US Government on demographics. She is the author of The Future Faces of War: Population and National Security (2011) and Everybody Counts (2022), and editor of A Research Agenda for Political Demography (2021). Dr. Sciubba is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and Phi Beta Kappa and of the board of the Population Reference Bureau. In addition to RPI, she is affiliated with the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the Environmental Change and Security Program at the Wilson Center.
