Center for Study of Europe Holds Polish Reception
On Tuesday, May 26, the Center for the Study of Europe, in collaboration with the Polish Cultural Foundation, hosted a reception and networking event for the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Special guests from Poland included representatives from Jagiellonian University, Adam Mickiewicz University, Warsaw School of Economics, Kielce University of Technology, Poznan University of Economics, the Polish-US Fulbright Commission, and “Study in Lublin” City Hall.
Speakers included Sylvia Rozwadowska and Andrzej Pronczuk from the Polish Cultural Foundation, Marek Lesniewski Laas, Honorary Consul General of Poland in Boston, and Marcin Witkowski, Student Advisor at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
In attendance were local scientists, students, and members and friends of Polonia in Boston, including several BU faculty.
The Center for the Study of Europe is an affiliated center of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies.
