The Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies is proud to welcome its 2015-2016 MA Candidates. On Sept. 3, their arrival was feted at a gala reception.

Students in attendance met Pardee School Dean Adil Najam, Director of Graduate Studies Robert Loftis, Graduate Student Administrator Michael Williams, and various Pardee School professors, as well as returning MA students.

The MA Candidates have previously participated in an orientation with content ranging from a thorough grounding in the Pardee School’s unique MA thesis defense process, to a scavenger hunt to acquaint them with their new facilities.

The reception isn’t the only celebration in the offing. Receptions celebrating the new year for the African Studies Center, the Latin American Studies Program, and the incoming undergraduate class of 2019 are planned later this month.
