William Keylor, Professor of International Relations and History at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, said that France was selected for attack by ISIS because of their support of U. S. foreign policy as well as their secular culture and the difficulties faced by their Muslim population.

Keylor made the argument on Channel 7’s Urban Update, speaking with host Byron Burnett about the November 2015 attacks in Paris, France. The episode was originally aired on Nov. 22 and uploaded to the web on Dec. 9.

You can watch the entire episode here. Keylor’s contribution begins at approximately at 4:17.
