PGC Host Veteran’s Day Celebration

Vets Day

The Pardee Graduate Council, the official graduate student organization of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, hosted a Veteran’s Day Breakfast on November 11, 2016 to honor those who have served the United States in the military as well as those who are currently on active duty.

Officers of the Pardee Graduate Council were joined by Pardee School faculty members including Director of Graduate Studies Amb. Bob Loftis, Professor Igor Lukes, Professor Joseph Wippl, and Professor John D Woodward Jr.

Guests donned red poppy boutonnieres as a tribute to those who have given their lives in the service of their country.

The Pardee Graduate Council organizes a variety of activities to enrich students’ lives, including dinners with faculty members and social events. Each year during the Spring Semester, the Pardee Graduate Council organizes a graduate student conference, centered around a theme chosen by the students.  The conference draws graduate students from the many colleges and universities throughout the Boston area and beyond.
