Norton on On Point on Global Response to the Syrian Crisis

Augustus Richard Norton, Professor of International Relations and Anthropology at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, was recently interviewed on the world’s moral failure in the response to the ongoing conflict in Syria.

Norton was interviewed on WBUR’s On Point with Tom Ashbrook on December 19, 2016 during a segment entitled “Moral Failure In The Response To The Syrian Conflict.

The panelists discussed the devestating human toll in death and suffering in Syria along with a weak global response to the crisis outside of Russia’s bombardment and Iran’s support for the Assad regime. 

Augustus Richard Norton is a professor of both International Relations and Anthropology at the Boston University Pardee School of Global Studies.
