Fewsmith on CSIS Podcast on China’s 19th Party Congress

Joseph Fewsmith, Professor of International Relations at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, was recently interviewed on President Xi Jinping and China’s upcoming 19th Party Congress. This fall, the Communist Party of China will host its 19th Party Congress, which will bring new members into both the Standing Committee and the Politburo. The 19th Party Congress will also mark the start of President Xi Jinping’s second five-year term as CCP General Secretary.
