Hare in AFP on Venezuela and Cuba

Amb. Paul Webster Hare, Senior Lecturer at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, was recently interviewed for a widely-syndicated article on the role of Cuba in the current political turmoil in Venezuela.

Hare was quoted in an August 17, 2017 article by AFP entitled “Venezuela: Behind the Scenes of the Crisis, the Crucial Role of Cuba.

For Paul Webster Hare, professor of international relations at Boston University (USA) and former British Ambassador to Cuba, Maduro’s departure “ would be seen as the bitter failure of Cuba’s political strategy .” 

Amb. Hare teaches classes at Boston University on Diplomatic Practice, Arms Control, Intercultural Communication and on Cuba in Transition. In Spring 2016 he will offer a new class on Public Diplomacy. His novel, “Moncada – A Cuban Story”, set in modern Cuba, was published in May 2010. His book “Making Diplomacy Work; Intelligent Innovation for the Modern World.’ was published in early 2015.
