Selin Speaks at University of Geneva on Minamata Convention
Henrik Selin, Associate Professor of International Relations at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, spoke at the University of Geneva on September 26, 2017 as part of Hg Week at a panel entitled “Science and Policy Interface: Mercury Emissions, Releases and Effects in the Environment.”
The session explored how members of the scientific community may support the implementation of the Minamata Convention around the world, be it in the further development of knowledge and its dissemination, in the exchange of information, in the quest for mercury-free alternatives or in the evaluation of the Convention’s effectiveness.Selin’s presentation was entitled “The Minamata Convention and International Efforts on Mercury Management.”
