Keylor Publishes Journal Article on Obama’s Foreign Policy Legacy
William Keylor, Professor of International Relations and History at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, published a recent article exploring the disillusionment of the Obama administration with the inability of the international community to play constructive roles in the promotion of peace and security in the world.
Keylor’s article, entitled “Leading From Behind When No One Is In Front: Eight Years of Frustration With the International Community’s Failure to Share the Burden of Preserving World Order,” was published in the September 2017 review of the Institute for Strategic Research in the French Defense Ministry.

Keylor served four consecutive terms as Chairman of the Department of History at Boston University (1988-2000) and has been Director of the International History Institute since 1999. At Boston University, he has received the Metcalf Award for Excellence in Teaching and the Methodist Scholar-Teacher Award.
