Pardee School Alumni Gather in Washington D.C.
Alumni of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University based in the Washington D.C. area gathered at a March 5, 2018 reception to discuss the latest developments at the school.
The alumni, some who attended what is now the Pardee School as far back as the 1970s, met with Pardee School Dean Adil Najam who gave them an update on recent developments, events and other news at the school. The discussion focused on the directions and actions the Pardee School has taken since becoming a school in 2014.
Dean Najam highlighted how Pardee School alumni can help the school meet its strategic goals, as well as how they can help the school can create an alumni network that fosters career advice and placement for current students.
The alumni also networked with a group of Pardee School graduate students who are on the school’s annual spring trip to Washington, D.C. In addition to networking with alumni, the trip gives Pardee School graduate students the opportunity to visit think tanks, non-governmental-organizations, government departments and meet with high-level policy makers and practitioners of international affairs.
