The Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies is Boston University’s newest school—and it draws on some of BU’s proudest traditions. It brings together the University’s venerable Department of International Relations—as well as a number of area studies and thematic programs—to offer nine graduate degree programs, two graduate certificates five undergraduate majors, and eight undergraduate minors to our student population of nearly 1,000.
Our outstanding faculty, including 40 core professors and some 200 affiliated faculty members, are leading scholars and practitioners with a passion for effective teaching and policy-relevant research. Collectively, we seek to advance global human progress by shaping peace that lasts, development that works, and knowledge that transforms.
