Hare in AFP on the Venezuela Crisis

Amb. Paul Webster Hare, Senior Lecturer at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, was interviewed for a widely-syndicated article on whether international pressure can have an impact on the ongoing crisis in Venezuela. 

Amb. Hare was interviewed for an October 3, 2018 article by AFP entitled “Can International Pressure Precipitate an Outcome of the Venezuelan Crisis?

Washington “may be willing to work with military dissidents, but I would prefer that Peru, Argentina, Colombia, etc., do the heavy lifting” on the diplomatic level, said Paul Hare, a former British ambassador to Cuba.

Amb. Hare teaches classes at Boston University on Diplomatic Practice, Arms Control, Intercultural Communication and on Cuba in Transition. His novel, “Moncada – A Cuban Story”, set in modern Cuba, was published in May 2010. His book “Making Diplomacy Work; Intelligent Innovation for the Modern World.’ was published in early 2015.
