Fewsmith Speaks at Workshop on Post-Xi Leadership

Joseph Fewsmith, Professor of International Relations at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, spoke at an East Asia Institute workshop in Singapore on post-Xi Jinping leadership on February 22, 2019.

The workshop was followed by a seminar on “Rethinking Chinese Politics” at Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) on February 25, 2019. He will also give the Distinguished Visiting Fellow lecture on “Engaging Engagement” at RSIS on February 27, 2019.

Fewsmith is Professor of International Relations and Political Science at Boston University. He is the author or editor of eight books, including, most recently, The Logic and Limits of Political Reform in China (January 2013). Fewsmith travels to China regularly and is active in the Association for Asian Studies and the American Political Science Association.
