GDP Center Hosts 2nd Annual Washington DC Panel Series
The Global Development Policy (GDP) Center, an affiliated center of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, hosted their second annual Washington, D.C. panel discussion featuring thought leaders of international economics and development, who will discuss the current crisis of multilateralism and offer alternatives for a better future.
The discussion, which was co-hosted by the GDP Center and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, featured María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés, President of the United Nations General Assembly; Joseph E. Stiglitz, Professor of Economics at Columbia University and Nobel Laureate; Mia Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados and Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs. The panel was introduced and moderated by Kevin Gallagher, Director of the GDP Center and Professor of Global Development Policy at the Pardee School.
