PWG Hosts Breakfast Conversation With Bonnie Glaser

The Pardee Women’s Group (PWG) hosted Bonnie Glaser, Senior Adviser for Asia and Director of the China Power Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, for a November 21, 2019 breakfast conversation with students about working in the field of global policy.

During the talk Glaser spoke about her experience as a woman in the field of international relations and gave advice for making it in the industry. She also answered questions from attending students, and recommended publishing as soon and as often as possible — noting published works make a resume stand out.

Glaser is a senior adviser for Asia and the director of the China Power Project at CSIS. She works on Asia-Pacific security issues and Chinese foreign and security policy. She received her bachelor’s in political science at Boston University before beginning her impressive and extensive career in international security.

The Pardee Women’s Group was created to be an inclusive community dedicated to helping build and foster relationships between the Pardee School’s females, faculty, and greater community. The PWG hosts networking events, speaker series, and a variety of community-building activities. The Pardee Women’s Group welcomes both undergraduate and graduate Pardee School students.
