Najam Interviewed on Global COVID-19 Response

Prof. Adil Najam, dean of the Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, was interviewed by various Pakistan Television news programs on various global aspects of the coronavirus pandemic response. This included appearances on ARY News (April 11, 2020) on ‘smart lockdown’ policies, on PTV News (April 12, 2020) on differing international norms of social distancing, on 92 News (April 14) on the possible geopolitical impacts of the pandemic, and on Dawn TV (April 15) on the global economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Najam’s comments were influenced in the context of the learning from the #WorldAfterCorona video series of the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, an affiliate center of the Pardee School of Global Studies, that he has been moderating. He highlight key impacts on US-China great power relations, on global institutions and governance, on the global economy, and on the possible continued rise of authoritarianism and nationalism.

Adil Najam is the inaugural dean on the Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, and had earlier served at the Vice Chancellor of the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). More on Dean Adil Najam here.
