Miller Speaks During Handbook of China-India Relations Book Launch
[Updated September 17, 2020] Manjari Chatterjee Miller, Associate Professor of International Relations at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, spoke during a webinar launch for her new book, the Routledge Handbook of China-India Relations. The launch was jointly organized by the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore and the Mittal Institute at Harvard University.
The panel featured Miller, the books two editors – Professors Kanti Bajpai and Selina Ho – Tarun Khanna of the Harvard Business School, Kishore Mahbubani of the National University of Singapor (NUS), and Shen Dingli of Fudan University. The launch was moderated by James Crabtree who is a noted journalist and an associate professor in practice at NUS.
During the event, speakers discussed the China-India relationship and the key role it plays in international security, the future of Asia, as well as the well-being of nearly 3 billion people. The panel also addressed the key questions posed by the book, including: What are the drivers of the relationship? How can they manage conflict and rivalry? Are there cooperative steps forward, now and looking ahead?
