Pardee Center Concludes “20 Years of War” Seminar Series
On December 9, 2020, the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, an affiliated center of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, hosted the last of its three-part “20 Years of War” seminar series events.
The event series explored the military, cultural, and societal fallout of the 9/11 terrorist attacks as well as the subsequent decades of United States military campaigns in the Middle East and their consequences. The event series explored displacement and refugees, increased militarization of U.S. police, and growth of military contracting.
Recordings of each event as well as brief overviews are available below. More detail is available on the Pardee Center website.
