Ye Comments on Chinese Urbanization Projects
Min Ye, Associate Professor of International Relations at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, was quoted in a fDi Magazine article discussing China’s urbanization plans and how it will effect foreign business across multiple sectors.
In the article, titled “China’s cities cluster,” Ye comments specifically on the banking, technology, and green industries that will be impacted by China’s massive urbanization undertaking. She noted that companies in these sectors will have a lot of bargaining power in establishing new offices in areas, “whether that be the green zones of the Yangtze River Delta, the high-tech manufacturing areas in Shenzhen or the financial hubs of Shanghai and Hong Kong.”
