CSE European Democracy Forum Explores Future of Liberal Democracies and International Institutions

On March 31, 2022, the Center for the Study of Europe (CSE), an affiliated center of the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University, hosted the European Democracy Forum in collaboration with the American Enterprise Institute (AEI)’s Executive Council undergraduate program.

The event, led by BU senior Zak Schneider – Chairman and Founder of BU’s AEI Executive Council chapter – featured remarks by Dalibor Rohac, Senior Fellow at the AEI, and Vivien Schmidt, Jean Monnet Professor of European Integration and Professor of International Relations and Political Science at the Pardee School. During their discussion, Rohac and Schmidt analyzed the war in Ukraine and how Russia’s invasion of the sovereign nation will affect the global liberal democratic order going forward.

A recording of the event can be viewed below.
