Heine Discusses Future U.S. Involvement in Ukraine
In his latest appearance on CNN Chile, Jorge Heine, Research Professor at Boston University’s Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies, discussed the future of the United States‘ involvement in the war in Ukraine.
The episode of “Conexión Global Prime” was focused on the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) mediating role following the incident of missiles recently hitting Poland near the Ukrainian border. In his remarks, Heine elaborates on the likely role of the U.S. in the war in Ukraine after the announcement of Donald Trump‘s candidacy for the presidency and the results of the midterm elections.

He has served as ambassador of Chile to China (2014-2017), to India (2003-2007) and to South Africa (1994-1999), and as a Cabinet Minister in the Chilean Government.
