Pardee Center Accepting Applications for 2023 Graduate Summer Fellows Program

The Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, an affiliate center of Boston University’s Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies, is now accepting applications for its 2023 Graduate Summer Fellows Program.

The Graduate Summer Fellowship offers graduate students from across BU an opportunity for intensive interdisciplinary research and writing on topics aligned with the future-focused research interests of the Pardee Center. The 10-week fellowship, running from May 30 – August 4, 2023, includes a financial stipend of $6,000, structured interaction with Pardee Center affiliated faculty and research fellows, as well as a collegial atmosphere that fosters peer support and intellectual growth. Summer Fellows conduct independent research and produce a substantive research paper that may be considered for publication by the Pardee Center.

The deadline for applications is March 14, 2023. The program is open to BU graduate students from all Schools and Colleges. First-year master’s and early- to mid-stage doctoral students are especially encouraged to apply. Visit the Pardee Center’s website for full fellowship details and application instructions.

If you are interested in this program, be sure to attend the Pardee Center’s information session on February 13, 2023. This informal virtual session will provide an overview of the program, requirements and expectations, as well as stories of previous fellows. RSVP on the Pardee Center’s website.
