Garčević Debriefs Montenegro’s Election

On June 11, 2023, Montenegro held their early Parliamentary elections. Following up with the elections, BBC the Serbian Service published an article, “Elections in Montenegro: How the Parties That Overthrew the DPS Power Changed, and What Does the Rise of the Europe Movement Bring Now” which featured Ambassador Vesko Garčević, Professor of the Practice of International Relations at Boston University’s Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies.

Ambassador Garčević’s main objective was that Montenegro is entering a period of political instability, and it will take a few more elections until the situation stabilizes. He didn’t rule out the possibility that the new government would not be agreed before the 60 days deadline, which would lead to early elections in the fall.
