Garčević Comments on Formation of New Montenegrin Government

Amb. Vesko Garčević

Amb. Vesko Garčević, Professor of the Practice of International Relations at Boston University’s Pardee School of Global Studies, recently made a suite of appearances to comment on the current negotiation on the formation of a new Montenegrin government and the interference of third actors in Montenegrin  internal affairs.

On August 23, 2023, Garčević was quoted in a Radio Free Europe article on the new government’s potential alliances with political parties, specifically the recently formed pro-Russian Democratic Front (DF) party. Garčević warned that an anti-European Union (EU), pro-Russian government may not be successful, given the substantial aid provided by the EU in addition to the West’s ideological parity with citizens.

Garčević made two additional television appearances to discuss the new government.

He first appeared on August 26 on TV Nova M.

His next showing was on August 27, appearing on TV E Montenegro:
