Diwali Delight: Center for the Study of Asia Hosts a Vibrant Celebration
The Center for the Study of Asia, along with the BU Hindi Urdu Program in the Department of World Languages and Literatures successfully hosted their annual Diwali Celebration on Thursday, November 16, 2023.
The event turned out to be a resounding success. Attendees were immersed in the joyous atmosphere, celebrating the festival of lights with enthusiasm and warmth. 
The venue, adorned with vibrant decorations, echoed with laughter and camaraderie as participants came together to mark the occasion. The Diwali Celebration showcased the rich cultural heritage of Hindi and Urdu through traditional music and dance.
The Center for the Study of Asia promotes comprehensive, interdisciplinary, and cross-national understanding of Asia through coordination of teaching missions, research support, community-building among faculty and students, and broad outreach beyond the university. It strives to be an intellectual hub for new ideas and cutting edge research in the humanities and social sciences.
