Amb. Jorge Heine
Jorge Heine, Research Professor at Boston University’s Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies and Interim Director of the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future,  was prominently featured in a recent article titled “Is India refusing to lead Active Non-Alignment?” published in The New Indian Express, a leading Indian daily. The article explores Heine’s insights into Active Non-Alignment (ANA) as discussed in his well-reviewed book, “Latin American Foreign Policies in the New World Order: The Active Non-Alignment Option.”

The piece explores Heine’s perspective on ANA, highlighting its emergence as a significant foreign policy approach, especially in the context of global power dynamics. Heine emphasizes the concept of active non-alignment, urging nations to defend their national interests without succumbing to pressures from hegemonic powers. The article underscores Heine’s expertise in the field and positions ANA as a potential paradigm for modern foreign policy and can be accessed here.
