The Internationalization of Borges: His Presence in the US in the 1960s and 1970s

Fernando Galván Reula, Catedrático de Filología Inglesa, Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, will give a lecture in English about Jorge Luis Borges' first collections of short stories published in the U.S. in the 1960s and the influence he exerted on American writers, critics and reviewers who discovered him at the time, among them John Barth, John Updike and Paul de Man.
