Paul Ewenstein

Lecturer

Paul Ewenstein received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Tufts University in 2002 and his Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations from Boston University in 2011, where his thesis was on the connection between revolution and interstate war. He is the author of a 2020 book on the same subject, Realism and Revolution: Why (Some) Revolutionary States Go to War. His research interests include revolutions, interstate violence, and international relations theory. He has previously taught at Framingham State University, Northeastern University, and the Wentworth Institute of Technology.
