German-American Relations in The Trump Era: Two Leaders for the West – A Lunch Talk with Klaus-Dieter Frankenberger

Please join us for a talk on German-American Relations in the Trump Era by Klaus-Dieter Frankenberger, Foreign Editor of the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Moderated by Joseph Wippl, Former Central Intelligence Agency Officer and Professor of the Practice of International Relations at BU's Pardee School.

Klaus-Dieter Frankenberger joined the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung in 1986. His writings deal especially with U.S., European, transatlantic, and international politics. Prior to his positions at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, he was a congressional fellow and served as an assistant to a Member of Congress in 1985 and 1986, thus taking a closer look at the political decision-making process of the United States. Mr. Frankenberger’s academic activities include research positions at the Center for North American Studies in Frankfurt/Main and a Marshall Fellowship at Harvard University in 1990.
