This paper explores the disjunction between thought and action as it occurs in what is referred to as "peace language". Using Wittgenstein's theories on language and Abrahamic religious traditions, the author suggests that spoken words about peace lose meaning, in a sense, when they are devoid or corresponding action that substantiates them. Implications are explored.
