ChoreoLab 2024

Boston University’s Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance is pleased to present ChoreoLab 2024, an informal showing of choreography created by and for the Boston University community. There will be one performance on Sunday, April 28, at 5-6 pm that is FREE and Open to the Public. This production showcases a wide variety of original works by faculty, Jossie Coleman, and aerial dance student choreographers, facilitated by faculty, Molly Baechtold. It takes place in Boston University’s Dance Theater (entrance from Buick St.). Lighting will be designed by College of Fine Arts graduate student, Conor Thiele. The ChoreoLab 2024 coordinators are Lynda Rieman, Liz Roncka, and Micki Taylor-Pinney. ChoreoLab 2024 will include student and faculty choreography from our credit and noncredit dance program: • Jossie Coleman’s Afro-Fusion, Cardio Jazz Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Heels classes • A medley of aerial dance choreography by students Bethany Hallenborg, Elyse Wyatt, Ewelina Binkowska, Jiaxing Liu, Luisa Camacho, Molly Rainis, and Ying-Hsin Chen, directed by instructor, Molly Baechtold. • A piece from Dance Theatre Group choreographer, Beaujena Stoyanchev
