Fall Welcome Events

Family Welcome Center

Wednesday, August 28-Saturday, August 31, 9 am-3 pm

Take a break during move-in and stop by our Family Welcome Center, located on Marsh Plaza, 735 Commonwealth Avenue, for some light refreshments and community engagement. Members of the Dean of Students team will be there to greet you, answer any questions you may have, share information, and introduce you to fellow members of the BU family. Registration is not required for these welcome centers.

Parent & Family Pit Stops

Friday, August 30 & Saturday, August 31, 5-7 pm

Join us on Friday or Saturday evening (or both) at Fuller’s BU Pub, 225 Bay State Road, for some appetizers and refreshments! You’ll want a break after a busy move-in day and our pit stops are a perfect opportunity to relax, meet fellow BU parents, and members of the BU community. Parent & Family Farewell

Sunday, September 1

Immediately following the Matriculation Ceremony, parents and family members of first year students, are invited to join us in the Fitness & Recreation Center, 3 Court Gymnasium, 915 Commonwealth Avenue, Lower Level 1, for our Family Farewell. Your students will be busy meeting new people at the Comm Ave Fest. We hope you’ll join us for some light refreshments and community engagement. Please register for this event here.
