PhD on Tap: Poster Presentations
During “PhD on Tap” there will be two poster sessions featuring poster presentations by current BU PhD students. These sessions provide PhD presenters the opportunity to present their research to colleagues and Boston University faculty.
What to Expect:
1. Diverse Research Topics: Explore a wide array of research topics presented by our talented PhD students from various disciplines. From cutting-edge scientific discoveries to groundbreaking humanities inquiries, this poster session showcases the rich diversity of research taking place at Boston University.
2. Network and Collaborate: Connect with fellow researchers, faculty members, and peers who share your passion for knowledge and innovation. The “PhD on Tap” Research Day provides a unique opportunity to forge collaborations and expand your academic network.
3. Refreshments and Socializing: Enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with refreshments available throughout the event. It’s a chance to unwind, socialize, and exchange ideas with like-minded individuals.
Posters will be judged by current BU postdoctoral scholars. A winning poster will be announced at the award ceremony and the winner will receive a $250 prize. We especially encourage early-stage PhD students who have not had the opportunity to present their research publicly to apply.
