Center for the Assessment of Pharmaceutical Practices

The center’s overarching goal is to promote the safe and effective use of medications for the nation’s public health through research, education and consultation.

CAPP is a consortium of researchers and educators dedicated to advancing the safe and effective use of therapeutic medications.

The Center offers opportunities for collaboration and development in research and education related to pharmaceutical practices. The Center has access to some of the largest databases in the United States for answering important therapeutic questions facing clinicians in routine practice. Through membership in CAPP, we offer opportunities to use these data along with assistance in obtaining funding and grant preparation, research design, and analysis. The Center also has a number of educational programs and provides consultative services.
