Our primary objective at Professional Development & Postdoctoral Affairs is to ensure a supportive environment for doctoral and postdoctoral training at Boston University. To achieve this, we offer an expansive professional development curriculum for PhDs, postdocs, and faculty members at BU, providing free workshops, panels, and training events throughout the academic year to guide doctoral students in their career development. These events are specifically designed to facilitate networking opportunities for doctoral students and foster personal and professional growth.
As part of both Graduate Affairs and the Office of Research, PDPA is also here to direct doctoral students to resources across the University that are relevant to other aspects of the graduate experience.
