Why are you interested in physics? Are there any topics within the field that most draw your attention?
I’m drawn to mirroring the world via mathematical models, which is exactly what theoretical physics is about. My research is on the connection between classical physics and quantum physics – how one turns into the other as you “zoom in or out”, especially for many-body systems. I’m generally interested in the foundations of quantum mechanics.
What are you interested in outside of physics?
I love to playing the piano and singing, making videogames, photography and riding my motorcycle.
