Scarlet Safe Walk (formerly the Escort Security Service) provides walking escorts to students and employees seven nights a week, from 9 p.m. to midnight on the Charles River Campus only. Weather / Emergency Closings, University Holidays, Suspended Classes, and Intersession:
The Scarlet Safe Walk service does not operate if weather or other emergency conditions warrant the closing of the University or suspension of evening classes. Scarlet Safewalk does not operate during Fall Recess, Intersession, Spring Recess, and Summer Sessions.
Walking escorts are available to all students, faculty, staff, and University guests from one on-campus location to another. Two walkers are dispatched for each walk.
